"Good, But Could Have Been Way Better"
4 stars"

I am an old school fan of Wario Ware games. However, I must say I would recommend Wario Ware Inc, Wario Ware Twisted, and even Wario Ware Touched over this. It is a cute little game, but it just doesn't feel fleshed out enough to justify the price-tag. That being said, it can be extremely fun with friends, and you only use one Wii remote to pass around during multiplayer. There are some pretty cool mini games, but I just don't feel like they nailed this one like the other Wario Ware games in the series.

"Blah"
1 stars"

Probably the worst game I've ever bought for the Wii. Maybe I didn't give the game enough of a chance, but I got about halfway through the game before I couldn't bear it any longer.

The minigames last 5 seconds each. Each. And not only that, but they're incredibly grotty and the instructions take half of the minigame to read anyways.

The plotline of the game was hardly interesting, either, and to be quite honest it was incredibly disappointing considering the retail owner had told me it was meant to be very fun.

I'd rent the game, to get a personal view on it, but I wouldn't recommend buying it unless you definitely liked it from a rental.

"Great Fun"
5 stars"

To the other reviewer, the minigames are only ssupposed to last 5 seconds each – thats the fun of the game. I have loved Warioware games since they were introduced on Game Boy Advance, and this one is no different.

As you would expect, being a first party Nintendo game, it is one of the better games on the Wii. Sure, deeper multiplayer would have been nice, but this game is very fun and addictive.

Its silly and funny style features Wario in a huge collection of Mini games, only afew seconds each, and its a race to complete as many as possible. Fail a minigame, you lose a life.

Overall Warioware Smooth Moves is a fun game that takes great use of the Wii-Mote. 9/10

Description

The WarioWare team took an idea so wacky, it could only be made with the latest technology… the Wii Remote. In WarioWare: Smooth Moves, Wario and his pals learn fun, wacky moves after discovering a strange book and a mystical device called the Form Baton.

Players must clear fast-paced sets of microgames, changing the way they hold the Wii Remote each time. As they do, they’ll unlock more microgames and souvenirs.

Features:

  • WarioWare is back with a whole new set of moves. When Wario stumbles upon a strange device called a Form Baton, he and his friends use it to learn new moves that are as fun as they are wacky. With hundreds of microgames, this game is just as wild as you’d expect from the name WarioWare, but the game play has been revolutionized. Under Wario’s tutelage, and with the help of the Wii Remote, players will swing, spin and squat their way to victory.
  • With about 200 lightning-quick microgames and controls that range from scribbling to flailing, WarioWare: Smooth Moves takes interactive gaming to a whole new level. All players need is a Wii Remote and their best moves to be the champ.
  • With games that are as much fun to play as they are to WATCH people play, WarioWare: Smooth Moves brings the party to its feet. It’s hilarious for players and audiences alike.
