For though Mr. Twining, with a modefty and candour ever attending on real merit, obferves of my tranflation, that in many places where we differ if I am right, he mufi be wrong, I am perfectly convinced, that in molt places where we differ, the contrary to what he puts hypothetically is in fact true.
