Author Biography:

Victoria Emma Pagan is Professor and Chair of Classicsat the University of Florida. She is the author of ConspiracyNarratives in Roman History (2004), Rome and the Literatureof Gardens (2006), A Sallust Reader (2009), and Conspiracy Theory in Ancient Rome: Conjecture and SocialStatus (forthcoming), and has published over a dozen articleson Latin literature.
