Based on a true story of remarkable healing, A Fall into Light follows the spiritually gifted Patience Passion as she guides her childhood friend Henry Moore down his noble path and out of a life of heartache and loneliness. Henry has moved back to his childhood home of Mystic Connecticut with his wife Ellen, a Harvard-trained physician who has been hired to run the same local rehabilitation hospital where Patience has been quietly healing physically impaired patients with her unique style of Vipassana spiritual healing. Ellen, accomplished and driven and the scion of a wealthy family used to getting their way, becomes suspicious of Patience's relationship with Henry and her unorthodox style of healing, and hatches a plot to remove Patience from the hospital and Henry's life.
