Excerpt from A Genealogy of the Descendants of John Bulfinch of Boston, Massachusetts, 1700 1895 Savage, in his Genealogical Dictionary, says that John Bulfinch removed from Salem, but it is notknown whither he went. A recent search, however, among the Middlesex and Essex County Court Rec 0rds*' has brought to light the fact that he returned to England about the year 1653, and died at Chatham, Kent County, about 1679.
