Description

There was a misconception of the west coast of America on an early map of about the 16th century. The map explorers of the day failed to sail on to Yuma. The map did not show California as being a part of the mainland of North America. It depicted California as being a large island. The San Andreas seismic fault line has a troublesome history from southern California to the San Francisco Bay. It appears on the map as limited to part of that area. There are no serious seismic fault lines between Ritto, Mexico and Las Vegas. However, there are hundreds of fault lines there. None of them appears on the fault line map as being significant. What if the geologists screwed up the seismic response surveys? Perhaps they missed a bad fault line hidden among the others. If that were real would California split in two? Would it become an island between Ritto, Mexico and the San Francisco Bay? Brothers Wally and Mike lived in a Connecticut sea side town. They owned a boat and motor repair shop run by Wally. They also owned other businesses there. He spent much of there time sailing from there to the Bay of New York. Chase lived with his parents in the family home in that same Connecticut town. He and Ellen were graduating high school shortly. Chase also helped Wally with motors. He sailed to Brooklyn with the brothers and Sharon. Dave lived in Greenwich Village through high school. This angry man's mother put him out to live the family other home next Chase. He wanted revenge only thinking to floor the gas pedal of a tractor. He crashed in the house wall. Dave's father sent him west to Arizona. He went Las Vegas where high got rich on dumb luck. He won at everything only lose it all accept land in Arizona. He traded the land to pay debt to Wally. Some a tidal wave cause California to split off from the main land. Part Arizona became gold beaches.
