Kirk Douglas gives some serious weight to this light, enjoyable mystery thriller about a European gold-digger who is accussed of murdering her millionaire husband. Douglas plays an ex-cop who is assigned the task of guarding the beautiful but unashamadely amoral woman played by the Croatian sexpot Sylva Koscina. The considerable chemistry between the two leads makes this into a highly enjoyable, comical and suspenseful ride down the memory lane.
