Description

Excerpt from A Memorial of the Rev. Austin Craig, D. D., Late President of the Christian Biblical Institute, Stanfordville, N. Y: Containing a Biographical Sketch and Thoughts Selected From His Biblical and Other Lectures, Phonographically Reported His method was unique. He believed that theology had been too much out and dried; and (partially from necessity, perhaps) he combined the whole curriculum in one chair, so that his lectures were at once doctrinal, devotional, homiletical, and prae tical. Therefore, many of these excerpts are not necessarily connected, nor logical to each other, but simply suggestive. His lectures being principally expository in form, the subject matter reported, in gnany cases, was necessarily brief.
