Author Biography:

Shannon Miller, an international speaker and author, is the K-12 district teacher librarian at Van Meter Community School District in Iowa. She also serves as the Future Ready Librarians Spokesperson working with librarians, educators and students around the world. Shannon is the author of the award winning The Library Voice blog. She has published two children's book series on libraries and Makerspaces with Capstone. She has a professional book with ISTE coming out in 2019. In 2014, Shannon was named a Library Journal Mover and Shaker. In 2016, she was awarded the Making it Happen Award by ISTE. In 2018, she was named the AASL Social Media Superstar Leadership Luminary. Blake A. Hoena grew up in central Wisconsin, where he wrote stories about robots conquering the moon and trolls lumbering around the woods behind his parents house. He now lives in Minnesota and enjoys writing about fun things like history, space aliens, and superheroes. Blake has written more than fifty chapter books and dozens of graphic novels for children. Alan Brown, is a freelance illustrator who has created artwork for Disney, Warner Bros. and the BBC, while continuing to provide illustrations for children's books and comics. Alan has worked mainly on children's books for kids who find it hard to engage and be enthusiastic about reading. These clients include Harper Collins, Capstone, Ransom, Franklin Watts and Ben 10 Omniverse. Mark Mallman has released eight full-length studio albums. His songs have played on hundreds of media outlets worldwide, and he's scored music for countless film and television pieces. As a performing musician, he has over thirty US tours under his belt.
