Excellent movie. True to life. Amazing want a animal does for the human being. Animals have that affect on us. LOVE the story line and the the acting was so good. Felt you were in his life story. Very much worth buying this movie

Description

Sometimes it takes nine lives to save one.

Based on the true life story and international best-selling book, A STREET CAT NAMED BOB is a moving and uplifting film that will touch the heart of everyone. When London busker and recovering drug addict James Bowen (Luke Treadaway) finds injured ginger street cat Bob in his sheltered accommodation, he has no idea just how much his life is about to change.

Critic Reviews:

  • " Spottiswoode keeps the vibe gritty and authentic, which is in itself remarkable for a film about a young man and a cat. Tough and tender, and a massive, welcome February surprise. " – CJ Johnson (ABC Radio)
  • " Veteran director Roger Spottiswoode makes the most of this appealing yarn and has fun showing us a Bob's-eye view of the streets of London. " – David Stratton (The Australian)
  • " The filmmakers do a good job of capturing the precarious reality of life on the streets within the parameters of a PG rating. " – Vicky Roach (Daily Telegraph)
