The book describes how truce makers think, which truces can be morally justified and provides a philosophical history of truce making in the Western tradition.

Author Biography:

Nir Eisikovits is Associate Professor of Legal and Political Philosophy at Suffolk University in Boston, US, where he directs the program in Ethics and Public Policy. He writes and teaches about transitional justice and the ethics of war.
