In 1358, william ramsay, Earl of fife by marriage, surmounts his arms Argent, cm eagle displayed sable, with a bendlet engrailed and a bend charged with three crescents debruises the eagle in the seal of ramsay of Dunoon. In 1368 john hay, of Tillibothil, seals with his paternal coat sur mounted by a bend indented. The gordons of Lochinvar, differenced the gordon coat, Azure, t/zree bow: fiends with a bend of the last.
