Adria Folb Schumann was born and raised in Los Angeles. Her parents, Alex & Daphne Folb taught her to be independent and to work hard for any dream she wanted to see become a reality. Adria did her under graduate and graduate studies at UCLA and loved every minute of her time on campus. She taught school for LAUSD for over 35 years, at T.S King Middle School. Her love of writing is always a daily part of her life. She has been married to her husband, Jeffrey, for 48 years and has two grown children - Geoffrey and Mallory. Her great joy in life is her granddaughter, Alexana Perahya, with whom she spends as much time getting into mischief as possible.
