Rod Lawrence graduated magna cum laude with a degree in fine art from the University of Michigan in 1973. Since then, he has worked full time as a professional artist. Rod is an active artists' workshop instructor, and his art has appeared in many outdoor magazines. Rod and his family live in a log cabin in the hardwoods of northern Michigan. Toni Watts is a former doctor who gave up medicine to follow her dream of being an artist. Kate Tugwell is a professional portrait artist and art tutor based in Sussex, UK. She is a qualified graphic designer, but in 2002 she began to develop her love of painting full-time.
