A nice model of the later Messerschmitt Bf109G-6, including a Swiss version. I am looking forward to making as nice a job as I can of the Luftwaffe version for my collection.

I like to do old aeroplane Up
Pros: The fit is great (no need for filler), there's a variety of armament options (cannons, rockets, a fuel tank or a bomb), 2 sets of decals and paint guides for Luftwaffe and Swiss Air Force, wheels down or up, good detail, spare canopy, low flash and excess. Cons: There are quite a few parts that aren't shown anywhere in the instructions (they don't seem to be anything crucial, but it's difficult trying to find out where they go), no flight dashboard/controls (even if they're not that visible through the cockpit, it would still be nice to have). Fun to make- Definitely. Worth the price- Yeah, definitely if it's on sale. Looks good on a shelf- Yes. Basic things like bare minimum instructions and ignoring the pilot controls just let the kit down.
Over 12,000 of the ‘Gustav’ G-6 were built from 1943 to 1944 and were armed with two formidable 13mm machine guns, enabling the top Luftwaffe aces to record, in some cases, hundreds of ‘kills’.
Supplied unassembled and unpainted. Hobby tools, glue & paints are needed to complete (Sold Separately)
