Venta-or Snow White, as her father calls her-is the eldest princess of Lucrum, the western country of Avalon, where she learns the way of the sword and studies the history of her people. When her mother disappears forever, her father comes home with a new wife: the mysterious and magnetic Maga, who seems to hide many secrets. Venta and her sister Aurora discover Maga's magic mirror in the basement of their home, and Venta's life from that point on will never be the same. The princess is sent on a quest to liberate the soul of the only being strong enough to eradicate an even greater evil from the entire world. Venta and her friends must travel the full breadth of Avalon, locating the artifacts needed to perform the ritual that will set this person free and put an end to the witch Baba Yaga once and for all.
