I read reviews that this game was simple to pick up.

Well, it is but…the rule book could be written better. It’s the little things like when it says “if this cards played, score it.” Where in the other sections it talks directly about Victory Points. It just could be a little more succinct. Either that or I’m a moron (not ruling that one out).

I haven’t played it yet but I think it’ll be a fun one and probably worthy of replays.

MY ADVICE: Go to the summary at the back before starting to read the rest of it.

My group's current favorite card game and it can play up to 5 which is a bonus. Quick to pick up, quick to play and great strategic depth with multiple paths to victory. Touted as a 4× card game in under an hour, some do agree that it feels like it, while some feel it is a stretch. I feel this will replace Imperial settlers in my collection once more expansions come in. Highly recommended.
