I really enjoy this cover. It's really hard to find a good one at a good price for the kindle fire. It fits the kindle snuggly and wakes it up when it is powered on by opening the cover. I have been able to take my kindle everywhere. It no longer fits in my upright stand with the added bulkiness and I haven't tried to use it as a stand as yet.
Please note, this case is not compatible with the latest 2020 model of the Amazon Fire 8 HD
