This cpu is insane for value for money. Not only does it demolish all but the hardest of productivity tasks it also tackles most peoples gaming needs. I have rendered a video whilst running at the same time and still managed 40fps (gta v) and without the rendering the cpu hits my 60fps frame cap in all games with my personal settings (high/ultra no msaa or fxaa) paired with a gtx 1070 and 16gb of ram. This cpu is okay for gamers, and is great for content creators such as you tubers or streamers as it allows enough cores and threads for fast render times and multitasking but also manages enough single core performance to run any game you can throw at it (some highlights of my time with the cpu so far, ArmA 3, hoi4, metro series gta v etc all ultra 60fps, and I have worked with sony vagus and blender on it for great results)

Who should buy this:

Any one on intel 7th gen or before (though an 8th gen i7 or any i9 cpu will likely be better overall then this ryzen)

Anyone on any amd platform that isnt am4
