Complete digitally restored reprint (facsimile handmade reproduction) of the original edition of 1892 with excellent resolution and outstanding readability. Illustrated with over 55 drawings by Harry W. McVickar (1860-1905). "An International Episode" was first published in The Cornhill Magazine for December 1878-January 1879. It later appeared in book form later the same year published by Harper in New York. "An International Episode" by Henry James is a short story about a love affair.

Author Biography

Henry James (born April 15, 1843, died February 28, 1916). He was an American writer who spent most of his writing career in Britain. He is regarded as one of the key figures of 19th-century literary realism. He was the son of Henry James and the brother of philosopher and psychologist William James and diarist Alice James. He died in Chelsea, London. His ashes were buried in Cambridge cemetery in Massachusetts.
