The book doesn't explain what actually happens in the Lightning Process e.g HOW you manage to identify the buried beliefs that are holding you back or how you shift them. It's more about getting you to be open-minded and then positive about the fact that your beliefs have a huge influence on your health and happiness so that when you go on the course you give it 100%.

Even if you do not do the lightening progress course it is well worth the read as the book makes a good case for the mind body link and how the mind has such a strong impact on health and well being. I still hope to do the course but I have already felt some benefits just by focusing on my mental head space and attitude. I wish I had read this book years ago!

If you are going to do the Lightning Process course, this is an absolute must to give you background, reference points and a general understanding of the learning entailed. As Monica said it does not tell you the process – that is what the course is for, you cannot learn that from a book. However you may find the book will help you along the way to healing before you even do the course. If you have any chronic condition and are open to challenging your beliefs on healing then the Lightning Process is THE course for you. I used it to get well from 8 debilitating years with CFS/ME.
