“Anna” is the third studio album by English Indie-Rock band The Courteeners. The quartet is led by the distinctive and infectious vocals of frontman Liam Fray, as it blusters through the single “Lose Control” in a wave of drums and anthemic melodies that set the tone for the record.
The Courteeners were approached by producer Stephen Street (The Smiths, Blur and Morrissey), together they created the Courteeners' debut album, “St. Jude” followed by 2010 album “Falcon”.
Speaking about the new album, Liam Fray hints at the band's new musical direction, stating: “‘ANNA’ is a new chapter sonically for Courteeners. Our music, like our minds, has evolved and expanded. We have re-arrived – welcome to the rave”.
