Let's start with the positives. The story is innovative and the action sequences are great to watch especially in 3d. There is a lot of light hearted humour. However there is a little too much humour and it starts to feel like Herbie goes to Monte Carlo. At 118min waiting till 120 minutes for any serious flow of action is overly long. The movie feels almost as if they are reintroducing Ant Man by dealing with yet more back story. The main antagonist is more of a side line nuicance than a serious threat in the plot line. I have every Marvel movie and consider myelf a serious fan of these characters since child hood. This will be near the bottom of the pile. I'm sure many will enjoy this but infinity wars it is not. RIP Stan Lee

Critic Reviews For Ant-Man And The Wasp

" If the previous film was a bubbly champagne cocktail of a superhero movie, its sequel is something flatter and more concussive-akin to a series of vodka shots. Bottom line though, as long Paul Rudd is invited, it's still a party." – Oliver Jones, New York Observer

" But for the most part, the two hours you'll spend running around with Marvel's Ant pals is fun and doesn't have the same emotional investment Infinity War or even Black Panther did earlier this year. And, for once in the MCU, that's kind of refreshing." – Mark Daniell ,
Toronto Sun

" As the 20th film in the MCU, “Ant-Man and the Wasp” finds itself somewhere in the middle. But in a series with very few misses, that's a pretty good place to land." – Karen M. Peterson
