A. Mark Williams is Chair of Health, Kinesiology and Recreation at the University of Utah, USA. His research interests focus on the neural and psychological mechanisms underpinning the acquisition and development of expertise, with a particular focus on anticipation and decision-making. He has published more than 170 journal articles in peer-reviewed outlets and written more than 80 book chapters. He has co-authored and edited 15 books and delivered more than 200 keynote and invited lectures in over 30 countries. His H-index on Google Scholar is 65, i10 is 145 with almost 16,500 citations. He is a Fellow of the European College of Sports Science, the British Association of Sport and Exercise Science and the British Psychological Society. He is Editor-in Chief for the Journal of Sports Sciences and Executive Editor for the journal Human Movement Science, as well as being a member of several other editorial and advisory boards Robin Jackson is Senior Lecturer in Sport Psychology at Loughborough University, UK. His research on perceptual-cognitive expertise focuses on attentional processes in sports performance, particularly in regard to anticipation skill and the perception of deceptive motion. He is also interested in the implications of this research for developing more effective training protocols that help performers develop skills that are robust under pressure. He has more than 40 peer-reviewed papers and book chapters, has a Google Scholar H-index of 21, i10 of 26, and has almost 1,500 citations.
