Are You Being Served – The Movie

Is one of the BBC's top sitcoms and a solid viewer
favourite. Barely off the air since it began its 12 year run it has remained an evergreen
example of British hierarchy comedy and loved for its many catchphrases and characters.

The staff of Grace Bros. are jetting off for the holiday of a lifetime. Will the moonlit nights assist Captain Peacock's virility in his pursuit of Miss Brahms or, second best, Mrs. Slocombe? Are European relations at risk when Mr Granger locks horns with holidaying Germans? Can Mr. Lucas chat up the local talent? And why has Mr. Humphries joined the local nunnery? In 1977 the entire cast from the series hit the big screen with this feature
film version which kept all the familiarity of the department store, but then jetted the staff
off for a cut-price Mediterranean holiday. The series was created by David Croft (DAD'S
ARMY) and Jeremy Lloyd ('ALLO, 'ALLO!)
