Arrow is the beginning of The Green Arrow, from his time on the island to the rising of his DC Comics' character. The first season takes you through the early stages of Oliver's time on the island as well as his return to Starling City (Star City).
From the Pilot to the end, you will see a rising body count as well as a developing overall plot – the undertaking. Although there are some cheesy moments and forensic mishaps, you must remember this is a DC Comics story.
You should enjoy Arrow and look forward to the season ahead as it has much in store. I enjoyed the story and I'm sure you will too!
