Archie Clark had been late for school three days running. His Headmaster and Teacher were on the warpath, it wouldn't do to antagonise them further. To stop the rot he enlists the help of his mother and sets out nice and early in order to upset the odds and reach school before the bell tolls! With time to spare and bags of determination, what could possibly go wrong? Archie never imagined the hot water this good deed would land him in! Every cloud has a silver lining and, thanks to the curiosity of Luna, Archie's boisterous dog, who, with his ability to sniff out items of interest, ferrets out a spectacular gem that lifts Archie out of the doldrums and into the stratosphere. After taking care of business he sets about delivering the invitation to the unsuspecting sister of Mrs Dolly Wisher. A heart stopping flight over the city of Rio de Janeiro, concludes this epic trip. Archie arrives home to a hero's welcome and an unexpected reward. Well, he would, wouldn't he?
