(1977-Present) Born in Staten Island, New York. She has found much success as a writing dynamo. Working as an advocate for children for many years, she is an author/illustrator of 10 children's books. Within her children's books, her first series, the "Talk to Me" Series, was purposed as a communicating series for teachers, adults and children to talk about hard topics such as: strangers, bullying, abuse, sickness, and molestation. Stickboy and Cookie, her second series, addresses issues as bullies, never quitting, feeling out of place, not being a follower and true friendship. Her newest creation, Bam Roberts, tackles bullying, divorce, being displaced and charity. She also works as a Singer/Songwriter and Book Coach, teaching others how to write a book and spends time as a motivational speaker. Birdie is the mother to a son, Bam.
