Veggies kept in the bamboo steamer didn't cook even after 20 mins. I even tried using a pressure cooker. There isn't anything the pressure cooker can't cook, but the steamer ensured that belief was challenged. I think the bamboo is too thick to allow vegetables or food inside to get the steam effect. Won't recommend this. Sorry.
