Author Biography:

ALEXANDER SPARE has taught high school English for 17 years in the Denver, Colorado, area. He currently is at Arapahoe High School, where he teaches AP English courses. In addition, Alex co-owns and operates The ACT Review Group, which offers both ACT preparation classes and private tutoring. ANN SUMMERS has been involved in mathematics education for 24 years, 11 of which she has taught everything from basic skills to Pre-Calculus at the high school level. For seven years Ann prepped juniors and seniors for the ACT exam. Currently, she oversees math instruction at three high schools in Colorado and is responsible for helping to raise ACT scores in math. JONATHAN PAZOL has taught high school science for more than 20 years at West Leyden High School in Northlake, IL. During that time, he has taught review courses for the ACT and SAT. He has worked in labs at the Weizmann Institute of Science, the Nanoscale Science and Engineering Center, the Feinberg School of Medicine, and spent six weeks engaged in seafloor mapping and geology aboard the US Coast Guard icebreaker Healy in the Arctic Ocean. Jonathan has also received local and state recognition for outstanding teaching. About the Publisher In the 1930s, Manuel H.
