Description

Each year in the USA, over 400,000 people have a new onset of heart failure, adding to a late-1990s patient population of over 4.8 million Americans. This study takes a problem-solving approach to examining heart failure and to providing the reader with an up-to-date account of knowledge in this area. Chapters on the diagnosis and therapy of heart failure emphasize data from modern multicentre trials.
