Batman: Arkham Asylum Game of the Year Edition (PS3 Essentials) previews

Wow what a game hands down the best game I have ever played. This game keeps so true to the dark nature of Batman, an intense story line writen by Paul Dini which will really draws you into the dark world of the Dark Knight. Gameplay is incredible with so much variety in takedowns and weapons all finished of with soild and fluent execution. Awesome graphics throughout gameplay and cut scences and the choice of the voice cast just really finished off this master piece of a game with Mark Hamill as the Joker and Kenin Conroy as Batman. A flawless game which has set the standard for all comic book video game adaptations.

This is one amazing game, the graphics look great and the voice overs work well with their characters.

This GOTY Edition is fantastic you get so much for a cheap price, the challenges are great and the 3D gameplay really brings back memories of the first 3D effects that were used on movies and television shows.

The storyline is intense and the gameplay is smooth and sharp.

This is the greatest batman game ever created and with Batman Arkham City releasing this year its a must have PS3 Game.

As a long time fan of the caped crusader, I was skeptical at first of the notoriety this game has garnered. After borrowing it from a friend, I realized that this deserves every bit of respect it has earned. Once the GOTY Edition arrived, I immediately bought it, and it was well worth every cent. Definitely a must-have for any fan of Batman, gaming, or both.

Great game not worth it for the 3D Though

I love this game it has great graphics, excellent story, really cool gadgets and fight system. Only problem is the back tracking and the annoying riddles, you get a quest on one side of the map and you have to travel all the way to the other side and somethimes you cant go the easiest way there. The riddles take ages to get and then you somethimes miss them or cant get to them because you dont have the right gadget. But Over all a really good game, the extras that you can unlock are cool, and the challenges are great fun if you want to beat up some thugs or execute a stealth takedown. A game that should be in your collection

The graphics, gameplay, character, story, everything is so so so so AWESOME. I mean it. It feels like I'm in the game, feels like I'm BATMAN. Really cool game, mate. Can't wait to finished it and get my hands to Arkham City.

This game is awesome. Until now, all Batman games have been cheesey and unrepresentative of the dark and grim Batman given in the comics. This game represents the essence of Batman with a superb storyline, great gameplay and top bosses (personal favourite was Bane). If yu want to know what the Batman is really like, buy this game and get yourself involved player!
