Great movie and the extended 2Dversion gets a big thumbs up. Be aware the 3D version whilst stunning is the theatrical releases only and despite this set having 2 blu ray discs there are no special features to be found Not ONE! :(

So here we go, DC Comics is stepping up and trying to steal some of Marvels well attended Avengers series, with a saga of it's own.
Batman Vs Superman was hammered by critics and comic fans alike when it hit theaters – maybe it wasn't true enough to what many expected, although I do agree that the story seemed to chop and change and didn't overly flow like many of the marvel counterparts. And there lies a problem we are comparing this to the successful Marvel franchise – something that has be rolling on for years! DC has come to the party a little late with the “Universe” scenario…and maybe that hurts…
For me Batman Vs Superman – meandered along at the start – trying to set the scene at a possibly too slower pace, but then it hooked me..I started to get the premise of the title a bit more…as the movie moved on so did the spectacle and once we get to the final battle scene things are certainly heading the right way for DC. Kinda helps that I thought the villain/beast is one of the better I have seen in recent times! Oh and lets not forget – we get introduced to the gorgeous new Wonder Woman (actually you almost wonder if this movie is a vehicle for the up-coming WW movie!)
I got the 3D version – and wasn't disappointed, while it was the in-your-face 3D many expect (or want) Batman Vs Superman opts for a more natural look, with depth and scale being the points to be emphasized…Personally I can't imagine seeing this movie without the added impact of 3D!
In the end I quite enjoyed the spectacle and scope of the film, and will probably need to re-visit it again to see what I missed the first time around.....I recommend this to DC/Marvel fans…just don't read into it too much!
This movie took a long time to get the ball rolling. It is a set up movie, so other universe characters are introduced but it ruined the flow I felt. Its worth the watch especially in 3D.
