Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Limited Edition previews

After playing the demo it took me a bit to get used to BC2 coming from BC1. The controls have changed but I really prefer the new configuration (you can change all controls back to BC1 settings if you want). The graphics dont seem to have improved much, although it is the demo and also the battlefields are large and contain a lot of players, so I guess something has to give. I can certainly sacrifice some eye candy if it means gameplay is going to be better, which it is!

I think my favourite addition so far is the “spotting” ability. Hitting the ‘back’ button now spots an enemy for all your team to see for about 15 seconds which really makes scouting a major assistance for a team. You no longer need to shoot an enemy to light them up thus giving away your position. Simple but so effective, and you even get points for spotting someone and your team killing them shortly after.

Not a big fan of the slow knifing animation which (with a bit of inevitable lag) can usually lead to you missing enemies at point blank, them seeing you, then shooting you in the face after a couple of lame swipes. Hopefully they fix this.

The transport helicopter is a massive addition. I think it's a six seater with two miniguns (one on each side) and also the ability to parachute from the chopper really adds a hugely advantageous tactical option for this game. Cant wait till release!!!

If your into online objective games and can conjour up a group of 4 or 5 friends on xbox live who are like minded this game will work for you.

After playing the online beta this last week the game play is awesome. you do need to co-operate with your team to take objectives. being the beta there was a few little problems but thats why they have a beta (unlike other very popular games we know).

Surely there will be several game types available with the full version. the large team sizes make this really feel like a war zone. one thing that has always impressed me is the sound effects of the battle field games and this is no different. The single player campaign looks like it is slightly polished over the last one aswell.

Although the frame rate is not as impressive as we have seen with other 1st person games I think the giant maps and diverse gameplay will apeal to many people. this may even start to draw many players from Moderen Warfare 2 as it offers features similar in that weapons are upgradeable and the points and ranking system.

Looking forward to this and hope it lives up to whats been shown to us so far.

A couple of days ago the Demo came out for Battlefield Bad company 2, I have long awaited this, so as soon as I could I downloaded the demo for Xbox 360, simply amazing, for starters, I love the destruction, you can level a house by knocking out its supports, which will kill all enemys (or friendlys =/) inside, I like the new addition of more drivable helicopters, jeeps, cars, boats etc.

I also love the UAV where you can call in laser guided missiles and use its machine guns, I even managed to get a roadkill with it!

I highly recommend this game to people from any style of shooter, it pretty much covers all, stealthy, or rambo or what ever!

Whatever you like in MP shooters, this game has it all. Whether you just want to run n gun on foot the whole time, drive a tank, pilot a helicopter – then this game is for you.

I honestly hated on the demo for the first week, since a lot has changed since the prequel. But after logging some hours and adapting to the changes, I found it brilliant!! Helicopters are even harder to master, but worth the time spent!! Anything and almost everything has a secondary weapon which is awesome, and a perk system similar to COD is tops.

I just hope they bring team-killing back (there is a vote to kick option) because its the moronic players who make the game either amazing or unplayable.
