Nice clear instructions, although the book uses fairly technical language which may be a little off-putting for younger kids. Includes some information on where/why to use each knot, but perhaps could be more comprehensive in that regard. Nice binding, and the size of book that could be put in your backpack (with elastic to hold it closed). Not sure how much Bear had to do with it though – kids expecting anything more than an introduction, and a few ‘quotes’ by Bear may be disappointed. Most people could learn something useful from this book.
