Description

This graceful, unflinching collection of 22 poems explores the real cats in our lives -- the companions, the hunters, the strays, the kittens who grow up and grow old with us. Beautiful Brutal turns the "sentimental cat poem" upside down, reminding us of the deep, wild mysteries we seek in cats -- and see reflected in ourselves.
