Our fibre is downstairs and we were finding the wireless signal very weak. We bought this length cable so we could place the router upstairs; the 30m allows us to place the cable off the floor/stairs and fix to the wall. I would definitely recommend the 30m if you're in a similar situation to us or you want to rearrange the router placement.
