In 2004 an unknown cricket team ventured to India with little fan fare. They left in search of one last glorious innings. They never expected to make history in the Kingdom of Bhutan. Like so many kids, they once dreamt of becoming famous cricketers; of joining Australia’s sporting legacy among the great players of years past and representing their country on the cricket field. But funny enough, things hadn’t exactly turned out that way.

Now, 20 years later, on the cusp of middle age and personal sporting oblivion, eleven men return to the game they loved as boys to form The Guild Cricket Club. All former backyard heroes, they assemble together on the strength of their collective imagination, determined to carry the larrikin spirit of Australia into the battlefields of Indian cricket.
