Description

Healthy marriages don't only last a long time, they create an environment that transforms each person into a whole human, capable of living their life as God intended. The five big issues that sabotage marriages are communication, division of responsibility, finances, in-laws, and sexual intimacy. To overcome these issues, couples have to get "beyond the bliss" of unrealistic expectations, to a reality where they are willing to work hard and thrive in a broken world. The key to cultivating a truly transformational marriage is a consistent, love-motivated engagement in four life disciplines: delaying gratification, assuming responsibility, being dedicated to the truth, and striving to stay balanced. Here's the good news: our marriages truly can become healthy, empowering both people to become more fully and responsibly human!
