Abby Webster, a too curious 16-year-old, sneaks away from a tour of the historic Hofwyl-Broadfield mansion to take a survey of the off-limits third floor. Little did she know that she would be taking the same tour repeatedly as she is thrown back into the 1800s. She is found by a young gentleman, Kaden, dressed in 1859 attire. This ghost asks for her help to solve a mystery in his family that began right before he himself was murdered. Capable of traveling between times, Abby uses her book knowledge of that era and a ruse to become a guest of the person who now illegally owns Kaden's mansion. Abby's research, in her present time, through historical records reveals secrets about her own family.
