Description

The day after Thanksgiving: the great holiday sale known as Black Friday, when everything from the hot holiday toy "The Pezit" to electric guitars is up for grabs. It is a day known for violence, and the townspeople of Settersville take it more seriously than most. Shopping has a dark side. On Thanksgiving day, the local newspaper is loaded with sale ads from every store in the Wisenbires mall, but for a few people even getting their clutches on the paper proves an extreme chore. And though every house probes the thick stack of pages, not one person is left out-there's something on sale for everyone's deepest fantasy. But it seems the store managers haven't learned from sales past. The dream items are limited-issue, and in the chaos they'll only be available for a few minutes. So everyday people do whatever it takes, to whoever is in their way, to get what they want. Nice and friendly attitudes quickly turn evil as hundreds of families plot underhanded scams to reach the things they've desired all year long. As they push, shove and scheme, their desperate attempts to beat the crowd lead them on a hilarious adventure with serious consequences in this send-up of "mall madness."
