The movie starts out slowly and not very amusingly but then when we find these people communicating with each other between a wall without intentionally seeing one another the movie moves up a notch with it's humour and the growth in the participants relationship. We all know how it will end but the fun is in the “getting there”.
When a young pianist moves in to a new apartment, she discovers that the walls are so thin, she and her neighbour can hear everything the other does. A battle ensues on both sides of the wall, each party trying to annoy the other into silence. Yet before long, these noisy lonely hearts start to enjoy each other’s quirks, despite having never seen each other.
