Blue, the oldest of the five children of Nanta and Lull Star, often thinks she must have been adopted. While her parents and siblings seem content with their life in the sleepy village of Parth, Blue wants adventure. She wants to know what lies beyond her planet, Altimore. She wants to fly a spaceship. But most of all, she wants to know where her family came from and why her parents are so mysterious about it; they will tell her nothing of their childhood, their parents, or even the name of the planet where they were born.
