Description

Children are helped with the aid of stunning photographs to recognise human and animal body parts. Differences are highlighted and an attractive arrow is used to pinpoint various parts of the body of a human, swan, frog, elephant and butterfly. Many of the actions performed by particular body parts are shown in attractive cartoons. The well-designed flaps on each page [written for parents, classroom assistants and busy teachers] engage children in focused science and literacy activities. The flaps have all the ideas and activities needed to develop children's literacy skills and their understanding of science.
