"Brilliant, Funny, Sad & Frustrating - Love it!!"
5 stars"

Started this book 4pm Sunday afternoon and I could not put it down until I'd finished it at 1am Monday morning.

Ms Holman is a Kiwi author and Bonkers is set on Auckland North Shore, not far from where I live, so it was fun to be able to visualise as events unfolded.

I felt Lisa's frustration and just wanted to shake Dan to get him to understand. Although he was totally hot!

Similar to Drop Dead Diva which has recently began on TV in New Zealand. I wonder if the tv series was based on this book?

I can't wait to read Ms Holman's other books.

Description

Bonkers is a very warm and funny love story, and is the next stage of chick lit at its best. After a head on collision between a glamorous sports car and a serviceable but very plain little car, a kind hearted angel does a swap in the anteroom to Heaven. As a result, the funny, loveable but very short and generously proportioned rugby-loving schoolteacher gets a second chance and finds herself in hospital in the body of a drop-dead gorgeous, tall and very glamorous philandering American wife. She has a very rich husband who looks as if he's just stepped out of a Ralph Lauren catalogue, but for some reason he can't stand her. Definitely one for the girls to read with a box of chocolates.

Author Biography

Michelle Holman's bestselling first novel, Bonkers, was a comedic hit with women and men of all ages, as has been her second, Divine. Originally from West Auckland, Michelle is a registered nurse who now manages community youth health projects in the Waikato.
