Born into Evil is not simply a story of parental abuse, it is supported by evidence and details of how an abusive mother was able to portray herself as the victim, despite the fact she was known to be capable of horrendous acts of violence against her own sons. Further, Born into Evil shows how child abuse does not end with the abuser, as often the abuser is able to find many enablers within society to assist them in hiding their dirty little secrets and even support them in continuing their abuse, from family members to professionals charged with protecting their victims.
Born into Evil also highlights the fact that unfortunately evil mothers are not unique, as they exist in numbers far greater than many in society would dare imagine. Mothers are predominately viewed as loving protectors who are willing to lay down their lives for their children, not as the greatest potential risk to the well-being and lives of their own child. However the evidence shows that many mothers are the most dangerous person a young child will encounter and the person most likely to end their life before it has truly begun.
Author Biography
Born into a dysfunctional family, and left school at fifteen before returning more than a decade later. Completed the HSC, and two degrees, making me a part of less than 1% of former state wards to complete even one degree. B.A. is in History & Politics and used the skills gained from this degree to research my own childhood, by obtaining as much information as I could from the Department of Community Services through the freedom of information act. Of course, I could have written Born into Evil simply from my own memories, but then it would simply be a story, but with the use of evidence Born into Evil is much more than a horrendous story, it is a factual record of more than a decade of vicious and sadistic child abuse. The research did not end there, I also collected data regarding the current rates of child abuse in Australia and other Western Nations, and discovered that mothers much like my own are more prevalent than most in society would dare imagine.
My brother and I were able to endure and survive our endless torment, but many others do not. Mothers abusing or even killing their own children is a very dark secret, Born into Evil was written to shed a light on this difficult and disturbing subject. Some of my mother's most sadistic acts of violence against her own sons are detailed in Born into Evil, not to for me to gain sympathy, or simply to portray her as evil, but to display that a mother is just as capable as any man of tremendous acts of violence against a defenseless child. I did not have to return to education or undertake countless hours of research to learn this fact, I learned directly from the source before I could even walk or talk.
Therefore, I used my own first-hand experience, my knowledge in historical research and fact finding to write Born into Evil, to highlight one of society's darkest secrets. Hopefully, it can educate the reader to truly see child abuse as the evil act it is, also to see that all some mothers pose a greater risk to the well-being of their child than any other individual in the child's life. Additionally, Born into Evil was written for others who have or are suffering from such abuse, for them to see that the day will come when their abusers will no longer have a hold over them, then they will be able to see them for and who and what they really are, evil and weak. Then they too can leave them where they belong, in the past, as they begin to create their own future.
