So got this in the hope I didn't need to have a headset for gaming on my Xbox, and overall it has worked. Just plugged it into my controller and it just worked. I can still hear my friends and the game though my TV/stereo speaker system. But don't need to have a headset on. Friends say I sound fine., something I can't check.
Only thing, is when I send people voice messages, I can't hear them for some reason when I click play back. But I think this has more to do with Xbox than the Mic it's self.
Overall, a good buy if you need a mic up don't want to wear a headset.
