Author Biography

Sylvie Ollitrault is Senior researcher at CNRS-France, Rennes University. She has published on French environmental movement, NGO's action and protest movement. She is involved in lot of academic networks (AFSP-IPSA-ECPR) on Green movements|Graeme Hayes is Reader in French and Social Movement Studies at Aston University, UK. He is Editor in chief of Social Movement Studies, and has published widely on non-violent action, environmental movements, and protest traditions|Isabelle Sommier is Full Professor of Political Sociology at Paris I Panth on-Sorbonne University and former director of the Centre de recherches politiques de la Sorbonne. She has published on the theory of social movements, political violence, radicalization and terrorism.|
