The game launched to technical issues, and flack from those expecting something different from single player than what was presented.

For those who want a strong example of team/class/ob­jective based multiplayer this should hit the spot, if they are willing to put in time to get past the learning curve as well as the ability curve.

Is this supposed to be a simulation of the chaos of real battle- I ask because I have no idea what's going on. There are people shooting, people yelling, people running all over the map (except where I am, next to the objective, you know, over here guys, guys…).

It reminds me of one of those games kids play with lots of yelling and squaling and laughing, where no-one seems to agree on the rules yet everyone is having a good time.

Initially I hated Brink. I stuck with it and learnt that the problem is not with the game, it is just that I am used to slow, sneaky, stealth shooters. Brink is about as far as you can get from slow and sneaky.

It has frenetic action, interesting visuals, cool accents, and enough of a story to hang the game on but no more. It has a class system. That means you have a role in the team but you can change this role very quickly if needed (if someone disconnects, for example).

It is a team game. Lone wolves are going to spend a lot of time trudging back from respawn points. Unfortunately, the AI team members are a bit flaky. Then again, so are the opposing team, so single-player isn't too bad.

However, single-player is not why you should buy this. If you want to play on your own, get Deus Ex (extremely highly recommended). This is a team shooter. Just like the noisy kids, you need to play with others to have the best fun.

the smart (Smooth movement across random Terran )system brings alot to this game the customizing is great with tons of combinations with weapons and cloths so u can make your character truly unique do your self a favor and scroll to the top of the page and click add to trolley

Great game for those people that enjoy fast paced shooting and team based play

This is a big let down gameplaywas not as good as most other online games out there. Thought as bethesda had a hand in it that this game would be great

I was waiting for this game for a very long time. But sadly when it arrived, it was not as good as i thought it was going to be. It is a good game but the S.M.A.R.T system is not as good as i thought. I was expecting a alot of free running in this game but was disapointed when i saw the fast paced free running lacking game that was just another FPS RPG.

All in all not as good as i thort it was going to be

Been playing Brink for a couple of days now, if you want a game that requires a challenge, and your full attention, this one will do it, Graphics Awesome, all options on high settings! Customisable Players, size/look/weapons, choose whether you want to leave the Island (ARK), or protect the Island. and..........­....just to mention after dropping in last time to pickup and pay........... thanks for the free gift. wink wink.....wink wink.

Loved the game overall. The smart play system made it very fun to jump, slide and bounce around. Gun and character modification was pretty fun. Lots of guns to choose from but you end up only using a couple because lots of them have average stats and are a waste of time. Campaign was fun – play the same runthrough but from different sides of the war. Online games are fun also.

Recommend this game if you like FPS.

At first glimpse may just look like another shooter but the gameplat is truly different..Its more teambased than anything where each round has objectives for each class to do all in all its a fun game to play with friends..you maybe a little disapointed with customisation though but still gives a small selection of things to customise youcharacter to make it look unique in conclusion its worth it to try

brink is like a really futureistic team fortress 2 but with only 4 classes(spy,en­gineer,medic,sol­dure). if you like single player games where you play with bots team on tem doing objectives while the other team is trying to stop you, or vice versa where you have to defend an objective untill the timer runs out. Ireally like this game but it is a shame that there are no servers online. so if you like playing with bots and rambo style games where it takes about 7 bullets to kill you or your enemy then this is the game for you.(snipers this is probably not the game for you because 90% of the maps are medium to short range)

Lots of Fun, Intense Storyline, Very Suspensful definitely reccommend

If you ever wanted a game that was a Highbred of Borderlands, Battlefield and Team Fortress 2, this game tries to become just that. The game has many customisation elements and boasts a Battlefield/Medal of Honor (The New One not the Classic) Objective based mission structure that sees you completing objectives to complete a mission.

However beyond this the game falls short on the whole as it doesn't seem to have enough maps, missions or challenges yet, and the online play is nothing different to the multiplayer’s men­tioned above. However don’t write it off, the Co-Op with friends can make the game play more interesting and on the whole it does hold ones interest.

The Verdict: The game has plenty of potential but feels unfinished.

I honestly do not understand the haters of this game. The game-play is fast and well thought out. It works just as well in single-player as it does multi-player. Although unless you have a very low ping server < 80 ms you are likely to have a few problems, but nothing game breaking. The customisation is great, even if a little limited. And the weapons do feel powerful. A good game that is definitely underrated.

Good game fast action and hard game play online play is great

Really rocky launch but now the game has settled in a bit its an okay game however there are other games i'd buy before Brink.
