"Damned Awesome!"
5 stars"

Review by Sporb on 25th February, 2011

I wasn't expecting to enjoy bulletstorm as much as i did but i couldn't stop playing it!. The action is fast, the blood and guts are plentiful and the landscapes and set pieces are wonderful. The electro lash and mighty boot really make the game cause they're so satisfying when you've got yo-yo action going on some poor sap. The humor is also very disarming and will make you laugh if not purely for the unexpected and odd things the characters say.

Most definately one of the best games ive played in Yonks!

"Not bad, lots of fun but a little to linear in the game play"

Review by Lance on 21st March, 2011

This game starts off really well, then you relise you are trapped to a very linear storyline. I really do not enjoy this style. much like metro 2033. I keep going back to fallout 3, farcry 2 and borderlands purely for the freedom you get.

"Awesome single-player, multi-player very disappointing"
3 stars"

Review by David on 10th March, 2011

I've played the single-player thru to the end and it's awesome – one of the best ever. Fantastic levels, massive boss monsters…full of surprises and a hell of a lot of fun.

BUT…the multi-player is VERY disappointing for a game from Epic Games, who made Unreal Tournament. What on earth were they thinking ? A couple of tiny maps and only 1 game-mode with 4 players in co-op ? If Epic get their act together and write a decent FREE multi-player patch for it then I'd give it 5 stars, but for now it gets 3 stars at best.

"Sheer awesome chaos"
5 stars"

Review by Logan on 10th March, 2011

While it's not entirely original and sticks to a very similar format that AAA games have, Bulletstorm still manages to be fun with it's over the top style and in your face sense of humour. Not for the faint hearted or those with weak bladders as this game is hilarious and at times brilliant. Definitely worth a purchase, even though the campaign is short (10 hours) and the multiplayer mode is average but Echoes is excellent fun.
